All we are saying is give us a chance

That’s what I heard today. That, and words from a man who will not be misunderestimated. Will he be as good as he hopes to be? I hope not, but I’m not a hoper. I’m a dreamer and a space cowboy.

Could the NOMPH™ finally be vanquished and its scumbag supporters left slithering into their neocondi rice and beaner hidey holes? Probably not. I still find voting in this James Baker concept of law to be a demeaning process, sort of like submitting to golden showers as a condition of being to allowed to wash up in a tub of shit before eating a plate of e-coli contaminated peanut butter cups.

I didn’t hear anything today that convinced me that Barrack Hussein Obama was anymore capable of telling me what to do than the wind does, but his speech was not particularly heavy on the threats, so I’m willing for a few hundred days to willingly suspend my sense of disbelief that the NOMPH is dead. I will refrain from dancing on the graves of its most fervent supporters because that’s my way. I prefer to wait until the enemy dies by its own hand and then track it down and befoul its gravesites with piles of pataphysical pheces.

Biraq was even more inspiring today than he was during the long struggle against the NOPMH and the never ending reelection campaign war against reason waged by self-confirmed war criminal George W. “Fubar” Bush and his handlers, but I can’t embrace a leader who demands fealty through a process as flawed and corrupt as the American voting system, which appears to be just another supply-side market-driven pile of horse exhaust.

Will I give Biraq any more respect than I did the departed developmentally disabled First Idiot? Of course not. That would imply that I’m a nigra lover. Do you realize what that would look like on a credit report?

Come on people now, as the Youngbloods once sang, smile on the brothers. Irony does not show up on a compass, and humor is not reliably translated in technical documents, but we are not technical documents and John Lennon died to make the world safe for Biraq Hussein Osama as perfectly as Dr. Martin Luther King did.

I heard a guy from San Diego on NPR talking about being with two or three million of his closest personal friends at the inaugural today. I think that was the most positive sound bite I’ve heard in at least eight years.
