If you can’t trust the alleged terrorists…

It’s obvious we can’t trust the known terrorists. Hell, we’re Americans. We’re used to getting screwed by the terrorists that we and our friends and neighbors elect, because that’s what voters are expected to do. It’s our duty to go to the polls and vote for somebody — anybody — to keep the engines of war greased and firing on all their magnificent Detroit inspired cylinders.

And it keeps getting more difficult for the marketeers and cheerleaders of freedomocracy to muster the fan base a Hitler or Mao could produce with minimal effort because so many of the NOMPH™ are hunkered down behind their monitors engaged in social engineering, virtual activism, and hands-on self-improvement stimulation.

So what’s up with these Gitmo guys who want to plead guilty and have their pleas lead to executions before Fubar leaves office? I suspect that the Chief Pretzel Choking Decider sees this development as a real victory for his idiotic efforts to make the world safe for Christian Rapturism, but if the liberals and Democrats really want to play the insanity card, they should back off and let these guys plead guilty and be executed before Biraq is sworn in.

It reminds me of the war the terrorists on Mars engaged in Sirens of Titan to save humanity from itself.

In truth, I don’t care about humanity. I don’t care about art. I don’t care about literature. I don’t care about anything. Except maybe cave art. I like a good joke. Don’t you?

I do love some things and some people, but concepts and constructs are simply horse exhaust designed to have people line up at the showers and complain about the lack of soap.

Anything that is said today has probably already been said, with no positive results and many negatives consequences. If it can be said, it will be misunderestimated.

If I have a point, that’s it. We say the same horse exhaust over and over with no positive consequences, with nothing to look forward to, unless it involves bill pay.

Merry crispness to all and to all a Black Knight

But no sooner do I decide to end this rant, than I come across another incredible example of what I love about life in the endless night of meaningless stories intended to keep people dipping their fingers in ink to prove they have voted for something greater than themselves, no matter how pathetic:

This is an Associated Press post on December, 8, 2008. I want to call your attention to how sad and meaningless this story really is, particularly during the holiday shopping season, and especially because it doesn’t follow the rules of attribution that the NOMPH press prides itself upon. I am cutting and pasting the entire story into this post because AP has not offered a Permalink, and I don’t expect anyone will be able to find it in a week.

Chileans have a new hero: an apparently homeless dog that pulled the body of another dog through traffic off a busy highway. A surveillance camera on a Santiago freeway captured images of a dog trotting past speeding cars to pull the lifeless body of the other canine, which had been run over by a vehicle, away from traffic and onto the median strip.

The scene was broadcast by Chilean television stations and then posted on Web sites such as YouTube.com, and hundreds of thousands of people had viewed versions of it by Monday.

Highway crews removed both the dead and live dogs from the median strip of the Vespucio Norte Highway shortly after the Dec. 4 incident. But the rescuer dog ran away.

Authorities say images of the rescue prompted some people to call and offer to adopt the dog, but neither highway workers nor a television crew could find the animal.

Merry Chrispness to all once again. It’s like reading Hardy’s The Oxen.
